Why Should My Foundation Support SCA?

America’s public lands face enormous challenges.  Cuts in environmental funding have left conservation professionals with scant resources to perform the vital services our nation’s forests, parks, refuges and waterways require.

As infrastructure deteriorates, and habitats struggle for survival, thousands of young people stand ready to help.  But we need your help to make it possible for us to accept their service.  Help them transform our world.  Help us transform their lives.

When your foundation supports SCA, it will:

• Underwrite needed conservation work in our nation’s parks, forest, refuges and other natural spaces
• Introduce young people (primarily high school and college-aged youth) to the majesty and challenges of nature, helping them gain leadership skills, problem-solving abilities and confidence
