Fisheries Management Intern

You will conduct stream electrofishing surveys to enumerate fish populations (75%), conduct stream and riparian habitat surveys (10%), participate in miscellaneous field work (10%), and perform computer data entry (5%). Monitoring will require working in remote locations in all types of weather. Project will also require hiking over long distances (10 miles per day) carrying equipment weighing up to 30 lbs over rough terrain. Overnight camping over several days may be required in some locations.EDUCATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES: Located near the Sun Valley ski and recreation area, you will have opportunities to take in concerts, plays, and many other cultural activities in the summer.
