Interns will engage in exotic plant management projects at the park involving: plant species identification and inventory; GPS/GIS data collection and mapping; manual, mechanical, and herbicide treatment; and follow-up monitoring. We're seeking highly motivated and energetic interns to focus on a critical natural resources management problem. Work will primarily be in the field, with some office work (mapping, treatment data documentation, etc). Interns should work well in a group/crew setting and be flexible and willing to take on new challenges.Interns will have the ability to participate in other park natural resources management projects as needed, including native vegetation management, wildlife management, water quality monitoring, and trail maintenance.
