Community Crew Leaders

Opportunities abound in numerous locations throughout the United States to make a difference with youth, the environment, and communities.  Dates, length of time and salaries vary – which one is right for you?  This is YOUR opportunity to mentor youth, develop interest in conservation, and work on your leadership skills!

As a leader of a local Conservation Leadership Corps or Summer Commuting Crew, you will work in community green spaces and nearby parks. While these programs vary from one community to the next, they are typically for high school students and are generally comprised of equal parts environmental education and opportunities for environmental service. For many of the students, it is their first opportunity to get out of the city and see nature first-hand. Some will go on to participate in National Crews and a few will become Crew Leaders. With your online application, please attach a cover letter and resume, and indicate the position which you are applying.  As positions are available nationwide, you may apply for multiple positions.
