DC Summer Crews |

Are you interested in working outdoors this summer? The Student Conservation Association in DC offers a unique summer program for high school students interested in working outdoors in a local National Park
As and SCA Crew Member you will:
- Develop conservation and restoration skills by participating in hands-on projects in DC area National Parks
- Be apart of a team with other students developing leadership skills Complete valuable work projects in Parks to improve the natural and historical resources of the DC region
- Go on weekly environmental field trips and a 4-day camping trip
- EARN $1000
- Have fun!

MLK Event: Invasive plant removal with The Nature Conservancy |
|
|
The Washington, DC High School staff will be hosting a service project for up to 20 youth on Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday, January 21. We will be partnering with an SCA alum Mary Travaglini, of the Nature Conservancy. The project will be an invasive plant removal along the C&O canal near Lock 7, less than 8 miles from Georgetown. This project will go from 9:30am until about 12:30pm. For more information contact

Conservation Leadership Corps Application |

SCA' s Conservation Leadership Corps (CLC) is a leadership development and service learning program for high school students year round. The CLC brings together diverse students for particpation in meaninful and fun outdoor programs during the school year and the summer.
