This SCA Native Plant Corps will be part of a 3 year program to establish the DC CWMA or Cooperative Weed Management Area. The team will work for 3 months in the Washington DC area carrying out invasive plant integrated pest management techniques. This will include using hand-on methods for eradicating certain invasive species, mapping various invasive plant sites using GIS, and public outreach and education.
