Earth Day Bike Ride with Team SCA

Get out and Ride!
Saturday, April 20th 8am

Rock to Rock is New Haven’s biggest Earth Day celebration. Travel from West Rock and East Rock, with celebrations on both sides of the city. Along the way, eat tasty food, hear great music, take on environmental service projects, and explore our city’s parks and neighborhoods. 

Join team SCA for the day ride and raise some funds for SCA. Even if you can’t ride, you can still support SCA in CT by donating to Team SCA!

  • Where: New Haven, CT City Parks and Common Ground High School
  • What: Bike ride, service projects, an adventure
  • Who: SCA alumni, SCA supporters, community members, SCA staff, +1000 New Haven neighbors
  • Why: To celebrate our Earth, work together to beautify our community,and raise some funds for SCA
  • To Register: Sign up at http://rocktorock.donordrive.com with team SCA and choose SCA for donations
  • Once you have registered, *email kbshara@thesca.org to tell her your T-Shirt size by March 25th
  • To Support Team SCA: Click donate at http://rocktorock.donordrive.com and search for Team SCA. Make a donation to any of our riders.

Details:

  • Bring water bottle, sack lunch, snacks, sunscreen, rain gear
  • Volunteers age 18 and over: To participate in this event we need you to sign a Participant Agreement Form (download below). It will help with registration the morning of the event, if you can review and sign the forms prior to arrival. Please take a moment to print and fill out the form.
  • Volunteers under age 18:  You must bring the Participant Agreement Form, completed by a parent or guardian, to the event (download below). If your parent guardian accompanies you to the event, you may complete the forms at the work site.) Unaccompanied minors without a completed and signed form will not be permitted to participate in any activities.
