Environmental Educator and Interpretive Ranger
Hello! My name is Claire and my favorite animal is the Giant Pacific Octopus. I grew up in Bellingham, WA. I headed south to Seattle to study Neurobiology and Biochemistry at the University of Washington. I spent my summers during university work at a camp on the beautiful shores of Vashon Island. This is where my passion for environmental education was realized. I had my first SCA internship last fall working in Great Smokey Mountain National Park. Now I am here in beautiful Bear Brook State Park. I can’t wait to see what the seasons will bring during my time here.
