How do I update my online application?
Go to our SCA Application landing and enter your login and password on the right under 'Returning Candidate'. This will allow you to access your account and update your application.
How do I update my paper application?

How do I go back and change my program category?
If you would like to apply as an SCA Intern or other SCA Staff position, you must fill out a new application.
How do I adjust the availability dates on my application?
Go to our SCA Application landing and enter your login and password on the right under 'Returning Candidate'. This will grant you access to your application profile. Click 'Update My Application'. The availability dates section is on the second page, so click 'Save & Continue' on the first page and then scroll to the bottom of the second page to adjust accordingly.
May I complete an online application from a Mac computer?
No. At this time you cannot apply online using a Mac; however you can download a copy of the Crew Application and Medical Forms or email

for a pdf copy of the application materials which you can complete and return to us.
How do I know that my application was successfully submitted and complete?
You should receive an email shortly after hitting the submit button confirming that your application has been received. This email also gives you links to the Crew Signature Form and Medical Forms.

When do I find out about Crew Member Placement?
We will begin making decisions in February and will notify you via email if you are selected to participate. We cannot make crew placements until agency dates are confirmed and funding for the crews is finalized.
What happens if I get invited to be on the Waitlist?
You might receive an email invite from us with 'SCA Waitlist' in the subject line. You must reply to that email accepting or declining the Waitlist offer and describing any changes to your availability. You will be notified of any placement offers or further application status' via email.
Can I request to go on a crew with a friend?
We purposefully choose to place Crew Members in the field that do not know one another prior to the program. We feel that this cultivates a compelling and distinct experience for each crew member. Spending time with unfamiliar people can be daunting, but we assure you that an SCA experience most often results in expanded perspectives, physical limitations tested, core values redefined, and even shifts in musical taste!
What are the approximate dates for 2008 Conservation Crews?
We run crews in three different tracks. Our crews are anyhere from 15 to 35 days in length, with the average length of 30 days. Tracks begin for the most part as follows:
- First track begins June 12, 2008
- Second begins July 3, 2008
- Third begins July 24, 2008
