Forty students from the Stamford, CT area will be participating in a series of restoration projects, education, and fun this summer! From June 30th to August 6th, four crews led by eight crew leaders will work in the Stamford area to ensure local parks and recreation areas meet SCA standards!
The Stamford crews offer a great chance for local students to engage in community service while getting employment experience. Each project is challenging in its own way and all offer environmental education lessons.
Students will be clearing brush, installing new bridges, removing invasive plants, and creating new trails at the following sites:
