Summer 2008

Community Crew Update

With four crews working this summer, each with ten members, two crew leaders, and two apprentice leaders, Baltimore’s Community Crew program is off and running.

Crews are stationed at  Clyburn Arboretum Park, a 207-acre nature preserve in the heart of the city, Druid Hill Park*, Baltimore’s first large municipal park (and one of the oldest in the U.S.), and Gywnn Falls / Leakin Park. The 4th crew will work at several different parks over the summer.
