An interactive journal for SCA Alumni and Friends, August 2008

Conservation happens right where you live. It’s not just an ideal in a remote location. Whether you live in the beautiful expanses near Yellowstone or in downtown Houston, the need to connect with the land and our communities is essential. SCA addresses this vital link in our community-based Conservation Leadership Corps (CLC) programs. Find out more in this issue. As always, we welcome your feedback. The Grim of Green

Wind Energy and its Drawbacks

Last night, as I strolled down the hall of my residence hall at the University of Idaho, I saw a cork-board covered with facts. The title of the board was “Are you Eco-Friendly?”
