Event Set for August 4 in Charlestown, NH (CHARLESTOWN, NH)---Activist and author Bill McKibben, whose landmark work The End of Nature was among the world’s first alarms about global warming, will be the keynote speaker at the Student Conservation Association (SCA)’s second annual conservation commencement at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 4, at The SCA Center for Conservation Service in Charlestown, NH. |

Houston, TX -- To increase environmental awareness in the Houston area while providing local youth with paid summer employment, leadership opportunities and team-building skills to promote conservation and the enhancement of the city's natural resources, June 12th launches year two of the 'Green Team,' a six-week high school summer conservation program managed by the Student Conservation Association and funded by the ExxonMobil Foundation.
