BioTech-Invasive Plant Control

Responsibilities include assisting the park's seasonal biotech in invasive plant control including manual and chemical methods using mowers, shovels, hand-pulling and backpack sprayers. The goal is to contain, or eradicate, Canada thistle, bull thistle, musk thistle, henbane, yellow sweetclover, cheatgrass, and other non-native or invasive species. Once every two-weeks, assist with wildlife survey.Housing will depend on demand and may be a shared apartment with two people to a bedroom or other accomodations. Fully furnished, only need to bring beding and personal items.
