You will assist in managing one of the largest volunteer programs in the NPS system; recruiting volunteers, leading volunteer service projects, developing new and creative ways to use volunteers, and organizing the annual volunteer recognition dinners. In addition to providing overall support for the volunteer program, you will maintain the volunteer program website, contribute to the social media team by posting to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Flickr, and maintain the volunteer database. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) preferred. This position will spend 80% of the time in the office working on volunteer management and recruitment. Field support with volunteer projects will comprise 20% of the position.
