ARAMARK Sustainability Intern-Lake Tahoe Zephyr Cove Resort
In the early 1900s, Zephyr Cove Resort was built and has been welcoming visitors to the shores of Lake Tahoe ever since. Today, The Cabins at Zephyr Cove Resort have been restored to retain their original architecture and character, while being beautifully equipped with modern conveniences. Over the decades, our pristine resort has remained one of South Lake Tahoe’s finest, with views of the Lake and only steps from the beach, dining and activities.
ARAMARK-a leader in food services, facilitates management, and uniform and career apparel - and the Student Conservation Association have teamed up to offer a Sustainability Internship at the Zephyr Cove Resort Dining, managed by ARAMARK. The Sustainability Intern will focus on dining operations, which may include increasing waste diversion by developing recycling and composting plans, training staff and students on waste management practices, conducting waste audits and more. The Sustainability Intern will serve as a key resource in supporting and advancing ARAMARK's commitment to sustainability at the Zephyr Cove Resort in Zephyr Cove, NV. This is a full-time (40 hrs/week) internship. This position is not eligible for an AmeriCorps Education Award.
