ARAMARK Sustainability Intern-Lake Powell
With almost 2,000 miles of shoreline, endless sunshine, warm water, perfect weather and some of the most spectacular scenery in the west, Lake Powell is the ultimate playground. Lake Powell stretches across the boundary between Utah and Arizona and is the 2nd larges Reservoir in the United States.
ARAMARK-a leader in food services, facilitates management, and uniform and career apparel - and the Student Conservation Association have teamed up to offer a Sustainability Internship at Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas, managed by ARAMARK. The intern will gain hands on operational experience, focused on a project with specific outcomes. Topics may include energy and/or water conservation, supply chain (i.e. local/sustainable purchasing), waste management, health and wellness and community involvement. Projects may be strictly operational or include elements of education and marketing to support effective implementation. We are also looking for an individual who is passionate about the outdoors. This is a part-time (20 hrs/week) internship.This position is not eligible for an AmeriCorps Education Award.
