ARAMARK Sustainability Intern-John Deere

ARAMARK-a leader in food services, facilitates management, and uniform and career apparel - and the Student Conservation Association have teamed up to offer a Sustainability Internship at the John Deere World Headquarters Food Services, managed by ARAMARK.  John Deere has been a partner of ARAMARK for over 60 years.  We provide café, catering and vending services for John Deere throughout North America and Germany. The Sustainability Intern will focus on health and wellness initiatives in the dining operations, which include supply chain (i.e. local/sustainable purchasing), waste management, health and wellness and more. Projects may be strictly operational or include elements of education and marketing to support effective implementation. The Sustainability Intern will serve as a key resource in supporting and advancing ARAMARK's commitment to sustainability at the John Deere World Headquarters in Moline, IL. Some travel may be required throughout Iowa. This position is full time for 6 months starting in May or June. This position is not eligible for an AmeriCorps Education Award.
