Grand Valley State University is a public liberal arts university located in Allendale, Michigan, United States. The university was established in 1960, and its main campus is situated on 1,270 acres approximately 12 miles west of Grand Rapids.
ARAMARK-a leader in food services, facilitates management, and uniform and career apparel - and the Student Conservation Association have teamed up to offer a Sustainability Internship at Grand Valley State University Dining, managed by ARAMARK. The Sustainability Intern will focus on community engagement, which may include organizing events, engaging with campus and community stakeholders, developing strategies to increase employee volunteerism and more. The Sustainability Intern will serve as a key resource in supporting and advancing ARAMARK's commitment to sustainability at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MI. This is a part-time, 20 hour per week internship. This position is not eligible for an AmeriCorps Education Award.
