Become a leader and learn all of the steps to plan a successful service event using
SCA's Citizen Guide to Stewardship [PDF]. SCA highly encouages you to review these steps before initiating an event, so the event will be safe for all. NOTE: your event, even if led by SCA alumni, is not covered under SCA's liability, so you are strongly encouraged to work with the event host or the land manager to ensure that they are covering liability.

Organize

Register your event on SCA's web site and spread the word to friends and community members using the Service Event Sign-up.

Stay Safe

Use SCA's Safety Guidelines to asses risks and keep the event safe and fun for all.
