I would love to work here since conservation is one of my main career objectives. I am a junior in highschool and will be 17 as of the summer of 2008. If you could get back to me with some more information about this program I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!

Perhaps a better way to inquire about the program is to email greenteam (at) thesca.org (use the "@" symbol and remove the spaces).

Also, make sure to check the dates; this is an old post and they might be different this year.

If you post a comment to this blog, please let us know your email so we can get back to you. Otherwise, email me directly at bbecca @ thesca.org (without the spaces)

- Positions are still open for 2008
- You must be 15 by the start of the program to participate. If you aren't 15 yet, consider calling your local park to volunteer this summer.

Age Restriction Flexible?
written by Julie Leong , March 21, 2008
I'm currently a freshman at Old Bridge High School, but despite the fact that I'm 14 years old, would really love to participate in this program. Is there any way of bending the age restriction to allow me to join? I'd be perfectly willing to work as a volunteer; I just think this is a fantastic program and would love to help. If possible, please let me know.

Thanks,
Julie

What it means to me
written by Iesha Harris , March 13, 2008
I would really like to attend this job this summer because i have nothing to do this summer and it could be a great way for me to help out my community. Working has never been a problem for me because when i was growing up thats all me and my soblings really did. Like when kids were out playing we were in the house or in the back yard working our butts off. Please take this in consideration and choos someone who is reliable and responsible
