 On the 28th day of nearly consecutive rain, many of Seattle’s CLC members joined other community members at Garfield High School to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in an annual rally and march.
The school’s auditorium overflowed with people of all ages, colors and affiliations, in the largest gathering since the event began in 1983. Seattle City Council members, leaders of the NAACP, youth performers and other community members honored Dr. King Jr. in speech, dance and song.”
