SCA Named to Lead Recovery Effort

Jay Satz and Dave Uberuaga “The direct impact to Mount Rainier was unprecedented in scope and severity,” said Rainier Superintendent Dave Uberuaga. “I look forward to working with SCA and formulating a strategic response that would engage the public, provide SCA interns with an incredible life experience, and help get Mount Rainier back on it’s feet (trails) again.”

Long-time Seattle area conservation leader and SCA Vice President Jay Satz will lead SCA's volunteer work. He recently toured the site with Superintendent Uberuaga and wrote about what he saw in SCA's blog, Conservation Nation. (Left to right: Jay Satz and Dave Uberuaga.)
