Brittany Williams, a crew member at the Jacksonville, FL, Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve, gave an inspired reading of her poem at the crew’s recent graduation ceremony. This poem was originally an entry in the weekly journal that each crew member was asked to keep during their month-long service. Their work included building boardwalks and restoring wildlife habitats destroyed by hurricane damage.
