- Why: To celebrate 50 strong years of SCA conservation service and National Park Service partnership!
- What: Native Plant Nursery activities, group hike, celebration potluck
Organized by 50th Anniversary Alumni Council co-chair Kass Hardy, we spent the day helping the Native Plant Nursery collect seeds, among a variety of other events. Glacier National Park, the Glacier National Park Fund, and the native plant nursery here in the park were a huge help to make this day happen.
Schedule:
- 10 am to 2 pm - Native Plant Nursery Activities (near Park Headquarters, West Glacier)
- 2:30 to 6 pm - Group Hike to Avalanche Lake
- 6 to 8 pm - Celebration Potluck (Apgar Picnic Ground)
